When it came to the outside of our Kaysville new build we knew the exterior had to be just as amazing as the interior. We worked on several revisions of this exterior to get it just right. One of the biggest challenges was the size of the home. It is sometimes challenging to design a cohesive and overall visually pleasing facade when you are dealing with a larger home with multiple pitches, dormers, roof changes, chimneys etc. We stuck with our main farmhouse theme and brought in a color scheme of black, wood and white with stone and a red brick chimney mixed in.
The back of the house is kept mostly white with charcoal accents in the windows and railings. We mirrored the star symbol in the front gate, doors and railing design. Small touches like consistent patterns help a larger home feel less overwhelming and bring everything together.
